We are so proud and excited to invite you to a solo show, WRONG WAY JOURNEY, produced by one of our Prevention Allies, R.C. Riley, a playwright and performer.
In her words: “This one hour performance is a personal story of how being raised in a strict, evangelical Christian household effected how I healed from a sexual assault that occurred my Sophomore year in college. The performance chronicles my life of naiveté prior to and my journey towards healing, wholeness and liberation after accepting my queerness and seeking help from the campus Women’s Center. This is an inspiring story that challenges heteronormative views of sexuality, spirituality, and offers a space for those who suffer in silence to find true acceptance and self-love.”
Her next performance will be at Heartland Theatre, 7016 N. Glenwood, Chicago, IL at 5:30 p.m. Tix are $10 and can be purchased at www.lifelinetheatre.com
